Body Butter Lotion
What's the difference between body lotion, body butter, and body cream?
This may be a stupid question but I honestly don't know the difference. Don't they all just make you skin soft & smooth? What's the difference? Is one better then the others? I know body butter usually costs more.
They sell all three at Bath & Body Works so they can't be the same thing, and they sell both lotion and butter at VS.

I love body butter but it is expensive unless they have a sale. I use Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula for dry ashy skin and it works just as good
